The Inter American Development Bank challenge fund that has been set up to support new business ventures and collaboration between the Caribbean community in the UK and business people in the Caribbean

It is a special fund to support joint ventures and offers a matching grant of up to $100,000 US dollars to winning projects. A leaflet with information about the project can be downloaded from the Caribbean Council’s web site www.caribbean-council.org in the right hand information panel.

They will be holding an event in early June with the IADB so that interested persons can gather more information and speak directly to the IADB about their ideas and how they relate to the fund.

The fund is quite large and so any projects that meet the criteria would have a good chance of securing funding.
