Rio Young will be performing at IY Live! on Sunday 28th October.

Rio Young stepped into the music scene in September 2008, since then has released an EP and warm-up underground promo ‘Grind’.  His numerous performances have included Leicester Square‘s ‘Sound’ nightclub, Iluvlive’s 5th Birthday and Bashy‘s ‘Catch me if you can’ album launch to name a few.

Notable radio play and support includes that of Ras Kwame’s BBC 1xtra show called ‘100% homegrown talent’ and being playlisted on the Ronnie Herel R&B show for 12 weeks running. With regular freestyles and videos on his YouTube channel generating even more of a buzz.  This resulted in them being hosted on popular sites Grime Daily and Spiff TV.

Rio has released his new single, ‘Twisted’ which with its YouTube release, received over 20,000 views within 7 days with such impressive ever building set of credentials Rio is destined for mainstream success and is a must see at IY Live!
