Take 6 is one of the world’s most prestigious and well-known a cappella groups of all time. While vocal groups surge in popularity, Grammy award-winning super group Take 6 continue to set the standard for a cappella groups of this generation.
To date, Take 6 has won 10 Grammy Awards, 10 Dove Awards, one Soul Train Award, received two NAACP Image Award nominations, and holds the distinct honour of being the most Grammy nominated vocal group in history. There first album ‘Take Six’ went platinum with three consecutive Gold selling albums to follow. They have recorded with luminaries such as Brian McKnight, George Benson, Aaron Neville and Al Jarreau. After more than three decades Alvin Chea, Khristian Dentley, Joey Kibble, Mark Kibble, Claude McKnight and David Thomas continue to tour the world wooing audiences with their tantalising vocal harmonies.
TV and radio presenter Diane Louise Jordan is a well-known and much loved public figure who is often referred to as a “presenter across boundaries” in recognition of how comfortably and naturally she relates to people from all walks of life.
The Adventist Vocal Ensemble was founded in 2002 by Ken Burton. It is one of the UK’s most broadcast choirs, having performed over 200 songs on BBC television including ‘Songs of Praise’ ‘Good Morning Sunday’ and on BBC Radio 2. In addition to performing solo the choir have also performed with Ruby Turner, Ruthie Henshall. The choir perform at home and internationally and the results are a truly unified and powerful sound, undergirded by a deep, shared faith.
