The College of North West London @cnwl1 is one of very few colleges in London offering Fashion and Clothing programme with emphasis on industrial training.
Work presented is by a 2nd year students who study on a Btec Extended Diploma in Art & Design [Fashion].
The course covers Design, Pattern Cutting and Garment Construction.
Students have an opportunity to develop and extend their knowledge and skills in manufacturing processes and gaining experience in use of industrial equipment.
Progression from the course is to Universities, Art Schools and employment.
The project is about communicating fashion ideas in original and innovative way.
Students worked on a dress stand, creating an outfit using recycled shirts and ties, some have coordinated with jersey fabric.
