The Football Association (The FA) is the governing body of football in England and has the responsibility to promote and develop the game at all levels from grassroots through to the professional game, The FA Cup and the England International team.
The purpose of the Inclusion and Anti-Discrimination PR Officer role is to provide a specific day-to-day point of contact for internal and external clients in relation to the handling of all media, and public relations matters that relate to this important agenda and promoting football for all.
The successful applicant will have proven ability in a spokesperson role with experience of dealing with national and international media. It is vital that you also have experience of coordinating and running PR campaigns and press conferences.
A successful and consistent track record of high performance in a fast paced environment is required. An excellent communicator, you will be responsible for developing strong relationships with high profile individuals across the game and working alongside multiple stakeholders to deliver coherent and co-ordinated PR activities whilst ensuring the promotion of inclusivity within all aspects of The FA’s work
You must be able to work flexibly as the role will require some element of travel with unusual and long hours required on occasion.
